Alex Chiasson's time in Texas only consisted of a one (plus) year stint with the AHL Texas Stars followed by a full year playing for the NHL Dallas Stars.
Despite his short time playing for the Texas Stars Chiasson made it into the top ten of my favorite Texas Stars players given not so much
his skill (which he has plenty) but because he seemed to have a attitude that you don't see often from those players in the minors buying their time till they get called up to the big club. Chiasson
always seemed friendly to all the fans and players. In warm-ups he joked around with his teammates and in the tunnel he took the time to acknowledge the fans.
Since being trade Alex spent two seasons playing for the Ottawa senators and was traded in the off season to the Calgary Flames.
